Pretty much as I expected. The Dominican Republic over Panama. I expected it, but wow, did Panama not look good at all in this classic. And to be honest, the Dominicans didn't really impress me all that much. At least not their position players. Minus Miguel Olivo, the hitters really didn't do much. No clutch hitting, fundamental mistakes, and just mis-firing on all systems. The pitching looked good, and it is, but you have to look at the hitters they faced also.
Next up: Dominican Republic vs the loser of the Puerto Rico/Netherlands game.
