Here is the newest schedule updates for the pre-season WBC games:
The 2009 Spring Training schedule will feature exhibition games between Major League Clubs and the national teams preparing for the World Baseball Classic. Thirty-two such games are scheduled between Tuesday, March 3rd and Friday, March 6th.

I think it's a great idea for the national teams to be playing the Major League teams in exhibition games. It's good for the major league teams, its good for the national teams, and its good for baseball. Everyone wins. And a good chance to scout some of the players from the different countries.
Of course, I'm sure a lot of these games will probably be televised on the new MLB television network. No coincidence there, I'm sure.
