Love the "Good Will Hunting" reference. Good movie.
When you made the comment that "The problem is that they’ve fooled just enough people to keep the act going," I wonder if the only people they've fooled is themselves, which is indeed "enough people to keep the act going." None of them wants to admit their mistakes. Glass for hiring Moore, Moore on Hillman, and Hillman realizing he sucks but can't do anything about it. What a mess.
It's still weird for me to think of Moore in a negative light. He was such a good Player Development and Assistant GM that I figured bright things were ahead for KC. Schuerholz even recommended him. Moore was even in line for the Atlanta GM job if he had waited a few more years. What a mess that could have been.
